Open Water Classes

Online Classes Available

Learn to Dive

Open Water Certification is the first step in Scuba Diving. Classes begin every 3 weeks and meet twice a week for 3 weeks. Cost is $250.00 and includes your books, pool and class sessions, certification card and gear rental, while in class. Bring a buddy and when you both sign up, you receive $25.00 each.

Classes start at 6:00 pm. Academics are taught from 6-8 pm and the pool sessions then go from 8-10:30 pm.

Open Water Classes

Open water (beginner) certification classes begin every three weeks. Our next class section begins April 20. Classes meet every Monday and Thursday at 6:00 pm. The cost for certification is $250.00. Sign up a friend for the same class and you will both be given a $25.00 discount on the certification course.

Catalina Island Live-aboard Dive Trips

Water World offers a great selection of dive destinations from local lakes to exotic destinations. Our dive leaders are always planning local dives at no charge other than gear rental at Water World. After completing your open water certification your first gear rental is always FREE! This is a great opportunity to get your gear and head to Catalina Island with us. We have 4 trips planned for 2009.
